ALMEX 2010 – Honor Parade
First ALMEX in October 2010, attracted the interest of international industrialists willing to encamp with their technological innovations and novelties in the Albanian and Balkan market. ALMEX resulted to be a unique matchmaker for 80 exhibitors coming from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Macedonia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and USA.
The sectors best represented responded to the priorities listed in 2010 in the defense and security field: armored vehicles, weapons and ammunition, communication systems and communications, uniforms and military equipment.
Further to the curiosity of more than the 35.000 visitors, ALMEX 2010 was the commercial phenomenon of the year to at least 2.500 professional visitors and state authorities, who discovered through this rare event, a new page in the defence and security domain.
Beyond the commercial approach, ALMEX met its predetermined assignment to promote Albania's membership in NATO, a membership held with honor in the international field of Defence and Security, and witnessed today also by the courage of the Eagle Peacekeeping Contingent and Peacemaking Operations around the world.


Farewell Exhibition
In addition to technological innovations exposed for the first time in an international event, in Tirana, ALMEX 2010 revealed military equipment not in use, but with museum and historical value: it was a "Farewell" to all weapons and equipment that belonged to the past, or in special cases are still under the process of purchasing - bidding for commercial or civil issues.
